About Us
Meet Our Team & Learn Our Process
Our school is named in honor of Maria Montessori's first school in Rome, Italy, Casa Dei Bambini. Maria Montessori lived from 1870 to 1952 and her method shows a profound understanding of the child and has been successfully used throughout the world. Our structure, location and teachers all reflect the heart of the Montessori method and philosophy that has stood the test of time.
Welcome to Montessori Children's House in BozemanWHERE WE BEGAN
Montessori Children's House, owned & operated by Cynthia Bennett, first opened in Bozeman in 1996 as the Giving Tree Montessori school. Cynthia built a thriving community that served infants and toddlers and operated until 2002. She then sold her school & moved to Tennessee, where she raised her 5 children until 2011. She's excited to now be back in Bozeman and serving Gallatin Valley families once again.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
Montessori Children's House is perfectly located next to Montana State University on Kagy Boulevard. Our newly remodeled facility gives us plenty of space to nurture more children under the rugged beauty of the Bridgers. Our spacious & inviting classrooms provide rich experiences for each child. The children safely develop, build friendships, and soak up the fresh air in our large fenced play area. We also have a commercial, 15-car parking lot for parent convenience.
