Preschool Infant Lead-Teacher – Full-time
We are hiring a Full-time Lead-Teacher for our Infant classroom. Our business hours are 7:45-5:15,
Monday through Friday. There is flexibility in hours, but we need availability for 35 to 40 hours per
week.
Montessori Children’s House is a privately owned Preschool in Bozeman, MT., located very close to
MSU, with 3 age-separated classrooms for children ages 6 weeks to 3½ years.
Our sunlit classrooms, equipped with Montessori material, the generous outdoor space as well as
our cooperative teacher teams and the supportive administration make Montessori Children’s House
a great place to work. Pay depending on qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Experience caring for young children in a preschool environment
- A friendly nature, patience and love for young children
- Flexible and open-minded
- Able to lead a team and enjoy working with the team
- Knowledge of best practices as well as the ability to engage young children and earn
their trust
- Communication and listening skills
- Must pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid Certification required. (Paid for by the school)
Work duties:
- Maintaining a safe, clean and fun environment for Infants
- Performing educational activities appropriate for Infants
- Preparing and feeding bottles and snacks
- Demonstrating a compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for infants
